Production and Impact

Across our membership, there are a total of 19,840 avocado trees at various stages of maturity. In the last year alone, the cooperative marketed 65,000 kilograms of avocado for export. This year, we anticipate a significant increase, projecting production to reach 110,000 kilograms. According to the Narok County Department of Agriculture, avocado production in the region has seen a 61% increase between 2021 and 2024, a testament to the crop’s growing importance and potential.
